As a customer, you should notice no impact.

    Notice from our supplier:

As part of our commitment to quality and continuous improvement, iomart will be upgrading the ESXi platform that supports your environment. DC5-MAN-ESX3 is one of the management ESX hosts, that is used to manage the underlying private cloud, it is not used to host any of your Virtual Machines(VMs) thus it won?t affect your running VMs, only some portal features during the window.

This work was originally scheduled for 11 December 2025, but we have had to reschedule due to unexpected networking issues encountered prior to the planned start.

    What will happen?
Our infrastructure team will be performing updates to the underlying ESXi host that?s responsible for managing your environment. Your VMs will remain online and will not be impacted, but during the maintenance window some management features will be temporarily unavailable. This includes the Control Panel, KVM and Out-Of-Band access, automated reboots, bandwidth graphs, and limited ability to create new VMs via the Control Panel. All services will return to normal once the maintenance is complete.
When will the rescheduled work be carried out?
The upgrade work will take place on Wednesday 14th January 2026 from 18:00 ? 22:00 GMT.
Who will be completing the work?
All the work will be completed by iomart infrastructure engineers.
    Will I experience downtime?
Your VMs and services will remain online throughout the maintenance window ? there will be no downtime to your running servers.

During the window, some management features will be unavailable or limited. You may notice:
?       Reduced visibility of bandwidth graphs
?       No ability to make changes to servers through the Control Panel
?       No KVM requests - remote access to the server console won?t be available
?       No OOB requests - hardware-level management such as emergency reboots or power cycling won?t be possible
    ?       No automated reboot requests
?       Limited ability to create new VMs via the Control Panel (for private cloud customers)

These features will return to normal once the maintenance is complete.
